Karins provided Surveying and Engineering services for this redevelopment project in New Castle County Delaware. Located in the heart of Pike Creek Valley, on the site previously occupied by Three Little Bakers dinner theater, the project added much needed skilled nursing and medical facilities to an established residential community.

The project was designed and constructed in two phases: Phase 1 consisting of a 131-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility and Phase 2 adding 10 medical offices, totaling 18,000 square feet.

Complicating the design and construction process was an accelerated project schedule and the desire to maintain full functionality of the golf course and restaurant which share parking and utilities with the project.
