Karins provided Surveying and Engineering services for this development project in New Castle County Delaware. Located on Naamans Road, the project integrates well with the surrounding residential and commercial areas due to the mixed-use nature of the site.

The major project elements are a building with 18,000 square feet of retail space and 12 residential apartments, and a second building with 36,600 square feet of office space.

Design challenges that were overcome include a non-delineated floodplain, a relatively shallow stratum of rock at the location of the proposed buildings, presence of extensive existing utilities, and underground stormwater management and rainwater collection/irrigation.
